How to Lose 10 Pounds in Ten Days

The Daily Plan

This is an extremely simple plan and one which I have followed now for around 6 weeks with huge benefits and little downside.

Time How much
As soon as you get up each morning Drink between 300 – 600ml of water
1 hour later (before breakfast) Drink between 250 – 500ml of water
After every cup of coffee/tea Drink between 100 – 250ml of water
20 Minutes before each main meal Drink between 250 – 500ml of water
2 Hours before going to bed Drink between 300 – 600ml of water
Total amount of water per day Between 1200 – 2,450ml

The amount of water you drink will depend on your current weight.  Obviously a woman of 150 pounds does not need to drink as much as a man who is 300 pounds in weight.

20 minutes exercise ~ everyday!

The beginning . . .Day 1

Well, may be its not perfect after all. I am starting new..again!

There are reasons for this, and they are:
1. my MA is long overdue
2. my financial is kaput
3. i want to go abroad
4. parents
5. cats

I must complete my MA by 31 May 2011! Not that long. I have to speed up!

At the same time, I want to invest in ME too! So, apart from finishing my MA, I also, would like to:
1. EAT well
2. EXERCISE well
3. MEDITATE
4. JOURNALING
5. SLEEP well

Yeah, that what i promise to myself. I am doing it!

And I will update my blog. It shall have a new category for this so I can keep track on it.

My schedule will be like this:

MONDAY ~ FRIDAY & SUNDAY
6.00am ~ 6.30am: wake-up/drink 1 glass of water/ wash my face/ meditate

6.30am ~ 7.00am: stretch / yoga / exercise
7.00am ~ 7.30am: journal
7.30am ~ 8.00am: bathe / breakfast
8.00am ~ 9.30am: read / write

10.00am ~ 6.00pm: work / study

6.00pm ~ 7.00pm: walk / meditate / swim/ gym

7.00pm ~ 8.00pm: go back home / bathe / eat
8.00pm ~ 10.00pm: read / blog / journal
10.00pm: meditate / prepare to sleep /sleep

SATURDAY ~ off!

I will deplug myself, most of the time from Emails: Gmail, Yahoo, and facebooking only at night or over weekend.

Well, I have to say that, this schedule will work starting from tomorrow at 7.00pm. This is because, I am writing my MA for submission tomorrow, so I cant sleep tonite.

Keep showing up!

well, i did it again! i make a promise to myself to focus on study, my Masters Degree, i didn’t do it!

so heartbreaking. i am sick and tired of this.

but saying that, the good news is, i started to got to gym. yep. thursday – 7 October. and i keep on going ever since. the gym instructor, who i don’t know the name, said its only will take me 6 weeks to see the different. but i need to reduce food intake at night means, i must eat early. so … 18 november 2010, i should see the different in me. actually i feel different already. fresh and my joint not sore so much. improvement i would say.

ok, now, i must focus on my masters! period. i do it because i want to! it is difficult, yes. but, i must keep on showing up to master it!

that is what i will do.

 

Today I am starting new! Day 1

Hello! It is quite a while I did not write to this blog. Now I feel the calling to write again.

This very moment, I decided to live healthy. So, this is mean, I will give my awareness to my BODY, MIND, HEART & SOUL.

I will update to this blog about living everyday. Basically on what I eat and physical activities that i do on that day. This will be on weekly basis.

 I will  reflect them. I will try to make adjustment if necessary.

Ok, let me start by today.

My weight: 73kg (my ideal is 55kg) – my goal at this moment is to lose 3kg.

MONDAY ~ 27 September 2010:

Food:
Breakfast – 1 kuih, 5 table spoon nasi lemak, 1 glass of water & 1 apple
Lunch – Char koeyteow & 2 glass of water
Snack – 4 pieces of crackers with peanut cream in the middle & half tuna sandwitch, 1 slice of cake & water
Dinner (10.30pm) – 1 place of rice, 2 small ikan + bunga kantan: Assam Pedas, sayur bendi goreng, sikit ikan goreng & ikan masin

Exercise: 90 minutes dancing for WCC anniversary dinner rehearsal

Meditation:  counting on the breathing, inhale count 3 & exhale count5; awareness

September is here . . .

August was just like a dream! May be I live unconsciously, or there were so much to do. . .

It just slipped away . . .

And here is September! I shall embrace you with love and open arms.

It turned out to be good. Abah likes it!

Mendengar Ombak Di Pantai Qalbu ~ A. Samad Said

A. Samad Said or well known as Pak Samad is one of Malaysian Sasterawan Negara.

I like his writing. I remember during my Form 6, I have to read his book.

It was literature class and I felt so uneasy with the funny words the author uses in the novel. But somehow, I managed to love it anyway.

Here is the piece call ‘Mendengar Ombak di Pantai Qalbu’ from his blog. It was posted in February 2010.

The words entangle beautifully with one another. I just love it!
